Dear Readers,
At this special time of year, Thanksgiving, the staff at The Bookworm Shop would like to take the opportunity to let you know how thankful we are for all the local readers who have visited our store, selected books from our shelves or brought in their previously read books for store trade credit!
We are grateful for wonderful authors who have signed copies of their latest books for customers in our store.
We appreciate the excitement shown by those folks who have shared their love of literature with us. You and your families fill our days with the fun and satisfaction of locating just the right book for you, that last minute required reading for your son or daughter, a card for that special occasion or a gift for the person who has everything.
Thank you for allowing us to serve you!
We will be closing at 5:00 pm on Thanksgiving Eve and be closed Thanksgiving Day to allow our staff to spend precious time with their families and friends but we will be open on
the following day, Friday.
The Bookworm Shop will be open every day afterwards, as we progress towards even more joyous holidays. Don't worry about last minute shopping - we will be here. The Bookworm Shop has lots of new and unique merchandise for gift giving and stocking stuffing. And if you are searching for the "perfect book", we have thousands to choose from. To assist you with your holiday shopping needs, we have a limited number of the Mountains and Plains Booksellers Association's 2009 Winter Catalog. We have received many of these titles and they are on display now. We also have many other new books for gift giving, as well as our regular selection of used books. Hurry in to take advantage of the best selection!

Sharon O'Connor's MUSICCOOKS is a great idea ! It combines wonderful recipes for fabulous parties with a CD to get you in the mood for cooking and entertaining. Titles include " Pan Asia" "Chocolate Bliss" Christmas Cookies" and "Wine Tasting" to name a few. They are the perfect hostess gift to give or keep for yourself ! We're sampling the CD's in the store so stop in and ask to hear your flavor !

READING TUTORING - The Bookworm Shop offers one-on-one private tutoring for grades 1 - 5. Call the store for details and speak to Sandi about your child's tutoring needs.
If you are interested in joining one of our BOOK CLUBS, please call the store and let us know. We have some openings and would love to have you join us. Call Sandi to find our more about times and days.
Bring your books in to trade (no appointment necessary) and receive store credit to use toward the purchase of a used book.
We also have the latest best-sellers, required reading for most KISD schools and you can order new books - all with a 10% discount.
